Exploration support is a study, not a guarantee of oil. Edatm helps customers frame the geological question, commission or interpret surveys, and set out what the data does and does not show. Economic comment covers the cost and uncertainty of the next step. It is not a valuation of a field that has not been drilled.
The old page promised accurate data on presence and extent, and a strategic advantage. We will promise a clear report: the data used, the method, the range of outcomes, and the decision the customer still has to take. Where a specialist survey company does the acquisition, they are named in the report.
