What operations integrity means here

Safety, security, health and environment as one decision.

We use the term operations integrity for a simple gate. A task goes ahead when safety, security, health and environment are each under a named control. If one is missing, the task waits.

That applies to drilling, processing, mining support and to the movement of hazardous goods. It is not a score and it is not a prize. In an enquiry, tell us the site conditions you already know. We will tell you if we can work inside those conditions.

The four controls

What the gate is checking

If you cannot name one of them, the work has not started.

  • Safety

The hazards of that job, and the people trained for them.

  • Security

Who may be there, and what may move.

  • Health

Exposure and fitness for the task.

  • Environment

    Permits, receptors and waste.
